Mental health has become a buzzword since the pandemic, with new departments and increased support set up across event companies. But what would happen if we shifted the conversation from mental health to mental fitness? El Kwang shares his observations, plus the one change he made in his calendar that's put him in position to say yes to new opportunities.
El Kwang is the Chief Commercial Officer for the Venues Collection in Sydney. He has designed engaging experiences across the Asia Pacific region and worked in the hospitality, tourism, and business events industry for over two decades. The founder-CEO of consultancy firm Untangled and owner of two brand experiences, Biz Events Asia and U Agency, he also established BEAM, a company that produces content and designs experiences that help their clients’ brands stay ahead of their game. El has also been a board member of SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence).
